I have a 3 and a half year old fur baby who has hip dysplasia. He loves to go full throttle around his other camp friends. The staff looks over him to make sure he doesn't over do it, as if he was their own. I am thankful for such a caring staff and they have forever earned my business.

VERY expensive!
The service was not any different from other providers. They gave me a price when I booked my Ausiedoodle and then charged more at checkout.
$200 for the grooming? NO! That is ridiculous!
NOT WORTH IT!
So sick and tired of businesses taking advantage of its consumers.

Has down may be the best place in middle Tennessee. I would personally not pay any attention to the negative reviews. If people have an issue they need to call and speak to the staff they will happily make it right. They may be a little pricy but have you seen what they offer? Hands down excellent care and amazing facilities.

I will never use this place again! I was quoted one price for boarding my two dogs over the phone when I made my reservation and at checkout, was charged significantly more. Their prices are truly outrageous! But most importantly, one of my dogs was supposed to be given her medication every 8-12 hours. When I picked her up, they hadn't given her the meds for over 14 hours. This was irresponsible and dangerous for my dog! This is the very first time I have left a Yelp review for anywhere. But while the facility is very nice and the staff was friendly, I have zero confidence in the care my dogs received while being boarded here.

We are so sorry for the misunderstanding. We tried to reach out by phone yesterday 10/16 to discuss your experience, as a staff member expressed your dissatisfaction to management. We do not know if you saw but because of this we actually refunded your entire stay yesterday, 10/16 right after your pet's departure and we tried to reach out a second time to let you know that we had completed this refund. We wish we could have spoken to you directly to clear up any misunderstanding. We want to assure you that your pet was taken care of and did very well in our facility. Picked my Nova girl up today from cat boarding and she seems so happy. I've boarded her other places and she howls and seems so stressed when she gets home. Today she's been snuggly but she doesn't seem stressed at all. Pricey? Yes but playtime is included in their pricing which is really hard to find. Additionally her kitty condo was a great size for her and getting to watch her on the camera was the best! I'm willing to pay whatever for the awesome service they provided for my girl. They were so great and accommodating and made me feel comfortable leaving her for the week. Will 1000% be bringing her back for my next vacation!!

I was told Safari will no longer board dogs over 10 years of age because their climate controlled areas may not stay cool in the heat and cannot guarantee their safety. They said it was because there is not someone on site 12 hours out of the day to be able to move pets if needed when the air conditioning goes out. They waiting until 12 hours before I was to drop my girl off to tell me this when I had made the reservations weeks ago. They really put me in a bind by waiting so long. BE WARNED! If you have an older dog, look elsewhere for boarding. Maybe they should invest some money in newer HVAC or in staff to be on site 24 hours a day. They sure charge enough for their services that you should be able to expect they could handle boarding a senior dog safely. I will be watching their website to see if they advertise boarding services for dogs that are only under the age of 10!

My golden doodle had attended daycare once a week for about a year when I began to get calls in about 15 minutes after dropping her off from Safari saying she "had a seizure.". I picked her up and took her to the vet who saw no apparent issues but advised us on symptoms and to keep a log. We have seen no issues but whenever I took her to Safari they would call within 15 minutes after I dropped her off saying she had a seizure. When I picked her up after they called this week, they told me she couldn't come back unless it was for a grooming.
If they are truly concerned she is a seizure pet, I would suspect she would be a risk for grooming also. In addition, the follow up email has an auto fill feature with a "Do not" placed after her name as a part of her name in several places. That is not a great marketing tool!
I offered to provide a note from my vet but that was not entertained. The lady (floor manager) said my dog had grand mal seizures and it could be fatal if they last for 5 minutes.
Safari is the only feedback we've ever had that has anything to do with our pet having seizures. We have never observed any seizure like activity and we have been diligent in watching. We have obtained another location to use for any services. I would not ever use them again as they have no credentials to diagnose but definitely did that in our case. Also, if our pup has that sort of anxiety and it only manifests there, I really wonder what the situation is that induces it. We are sorry you were ultimately unhappy with our communication around Penny's health reports that we provided. We are not medical professionals at Safari, nor are our staff in the practice of diagnosing pets. We rigorously lead our staff to direct all pet owners to seek any medical advice and direction from their pet's veterinarian. We do apologize if our calls, health notes, and conversations with you were misconstrued as medical diagnoses rather than symptomatic descriptions to maintain a record for Penny's health and well-being and as helpful information for you to pass along to Penny's vet.
While our staff shared with you our experience, we know it can be frustrating to learn about new behavior you yourself are not seeing in your pet in other environments. At Safari, we never hope to see a pet exhibit anything but their best, buoyant behavior. But because we too want the best for Penny and every pet guest, it is our duty to be forthright in communicating fully with our pet parents. We apologize for your disappointment. This is such a wonderful place to bring my dachshund Lady H. She is still shy and not sure she wants to play, but the staff is so patient with her and insures she is safe while getting use to her play friends. I am also impressed with the cleanliness of the facility. It seems like they clean after every play session. my sweet lady never smells like she has been in a kennel when she comes home. Her favorite part is when I pick her up and they give her a pup cup!! Truly an amazing place for my sweet girl!

I've always taken my dog to get groomed here and I'm usually always happy with it! However recently I went and had a conversation with what I wanted with the groomer as usual, we decided to go a little shorter than normal, however when I got Rum back... she had completely cut all of her whiskers off. Her being a jack russell mix, she's supposed to be a little scruffy in the face and her cutting scruff is fine but the whiskers??? They're still growing back and it's just awful :(

Found this place on google, and I will never bring my puppy Ruger anywhere else! The staff is extremely personable and friendly, takes really great care of the pups, and remembers who you are when you come in. My dog loves coming here everyday and you can tell he wants to come back! Highly recommend daycare here or any other kind of service!
