Short Description: Students will explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Recommended for girls and boys entering third through fifth grades.

Long Description: This exciting summer camp will give campers the opportunity to explore the world of computer science through various coding activities and hands-on physical computing. Each camper will develop basic coding skills as they make their own 'apps' with MIT's Scratch coding platform. Campers will also engage in a variety of STEM challenges as they problem-solve their way through the world of physical computing. No experience is necessary, but campers should have a positive attitude and adventurous spirit.

Age: Recommended for incoming 3^rd – 5^th graders

Lunch: Students bring their own lunch

Summer Camp Refund Policy

Summer camp fees are fully refundable (less a $50 per camp registration deposit) up to 4 weeks prior to opening day of camp. You may email us your refund request and our response (within 24 hours) will be confirmation of receipt of your email. If you do not hear from us then we have not received your request. All postmarked requests (prior to the cutoff date) will be honored.

Emergencies: If you have a medical or family emergency and are unable to attend camp please contact us as soon as possible. We will do our best to accommodate you, however refunds are at the discretion of the camp director.
Last minute cancellations: If and only if we have a waiting list and can fill your spot, will we refund camp less a $50.00 processing fee per registration.
Refunds will not be given if:
- A child is sent home due to behavioral issues (see Behavior Agreement).
- A camper decides to drop out of the program or leaves early/before the end of camp.
- Your child is sick and either stayed home from, or was sent home from camp due to fever or other ailments.

Registration note: Firefox and Chrome browsers are more compatible with this registration form than Explorer or Edge.
