Event Description: MTSU is hosting their 1st Annual Relay for Life, benefiting the American Cancer Society, on April 19-20th at Dean A. Hayes Track and Soccer Stadium, from 6:00pm-6:00am. Relay for Life is a 12-hour overnight campus fundraising walk, where student organizations camp out around a track and enjoy food, games, entertainment, and activities while raising money for cancer research, support programs, and advocacy efforts. All of the money that is raised for the event goes directly to the American Cancer Society in Nashville, which serves Middle Tennessee. What makes Relay for Life so special is that we are able to CELEBRATE the survivors, REMEMBER the ones we have lost to cancer, and FIGHT BACK for people who may be affected in the future!
