Event Description: The Middle Tennessee Society for Human Resource Management's monthly meeting takes place on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at the Embassy Suites in Murfreesboro. Topics range from Leadership to Human Resource Management and Employment Law. Guests are welcome. Meetings are open to the public. Leaders need to be aware of their own strengths and developmental challenges in order to reach their maximum potential. Setting the direction of any organization requires leaders and leadership that leverage these strengths and that ensure that the right leader is in place when the situation demands. This presentation will focus on how to determine these strengths and then on how to better utilize them when the situation demands. Presented by: Dan Ryan, Principle, Ryan Search & Consulting Biography: In his role as Principal at Ryan Search & Consulting, Dan leads the firm’s efforts in Talent Acquisition and Talent Development for their clients. His career includes many years of quality, operations and HR leadership prior to entering the Search & Consulting world. Dan has earned a MEd. from Peabody College of Vanderbilt University, an MBA from Tennessee State University, and a BS in Engineering Physics from Murray State University. He is currently an adjunct faculty member for Peabody College of Vanderbilt University and has also taught at Belmont University.
