Event Description: This camp is for students who have completed 3rd grade through 12th. Prompted by the success of the hit Disney Musical “High School Musical” and the rave television show “Glee”, musical theater is once again in the attention and spot light of many students. In response to this new love of modern musical theater, Carpe Artista and Actors Point Theater Co. are partnering together to provide a week long musical theater camp that will allow students the opportunity to learn and grow in the skills needed to perform in musical theater. Local professionals from greater Nashville’s theater community will be teaching and administrating a feature packed week. Throughout the week, the students will sing, act, dance and prepare to perform in the Summer Mix Tape showcase that will take place at the end of the week.
