Event Description: Registration Open for 2013 Verizon Charity Golf Classic at Forrest Crossing Golf Course. This year the proceeds from the Verizon Golf Classic will go to Bridges Domestic Violence Center of Williamson County and the Domestic Violence Program of Rutherford County. We are excited to announce the 2013 Verizon Golf Classic on Thursday, August 22nd, 2013, sponsoring two local charities, Bridges Domestic Violence Center of Williamson County and the Domestic Violence Program of Rutherford County. The event will be hosted at Forrest Crossing Golf Course located in Franklin. Widely regarded as one of Nashville’s top courses, it features scenic views of the Harpeth River which winds alongside 9 of the 18 holes. This is an ideal setting for a round of memorable golf with friends at this spectacular event. We are in the initial planning stages of the event; however, it is going to be a tournament unmatched for these two wonderful organizations. Bridges Domestic Violence Center serves women, men, and their children affected by domestic violence, ensuring a safe transition to successful independent living through education, intervention, and case management. For $75 per golfer, or $300 per foursome, you can play in the tournament which includes lunch, green fees, cart, range balls, and ceremony with prizes. Registration for the Thursday, August 22, 2013 Golf Classic is now open. Day of tournament registration and lunch will be from 11:00 am – 1:00 pm. The Shotgun Classic start will be at 1:00 pm. A great day of golf will be followed by the post-tournament Reception, Awards Presentation and Silent Auction. Make sure to secure your spot today!
