Event Description: The changes to the American health care system as outlined in the Affordable Care Act will begin soon. These changes will impact individuals and businesses alike. If you are interested in gaining a better understanding of the facts that are associated with these changes as it relates to your business, please join the Tennessee Small Business Development Center-MTSU for our Seminar, “Understanding the Impact of the Affordable Care Act on Your Business.” The Seminar will include discussion of Individual/Employer Mandates, Marketplace/Insurance Exchanges, Fully Insured vs. Self-Funded, Play or Pay, Limits on Waiting Periods, and other health care reform topics. The Seminar will be held Friday, September 27, from 10:30 AM to Noon, at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, 3050 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN.
