Event Description: Grateful Days Open House is a Fundraiser to benefit Mindful Care Adult Day Services (a program of Elders First). Donations will support the continued provision of a daytime program (8am-5pm) of meaningful, enjoyable activities, primarily for persons age 55 and up with memory loss. The program gives family caregivers a much-needed break as well as a very positive alternative for their loved ones. Dress is casual, refreshments will be served. This will be a wonderful way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday afternoon. Come meet our talented staff and our Board of Directors while mingling with your friends. The event is sponsored by Andy Womack, State Farm Agent, St. Thomas Rutherford Hospital, Dr. James W. Garner, and GSRM Attorneys at Law of Nashville. Mindful Care is sponsored, in part, by United Way of Rutherford and Cannon Counties, the Baptist Healing Trust, a Community Development Block Grant, Charity Circle, and the Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
