Event Description: The Garden Basics course is a five week series of classes beginning on January 28th, 2014 running through February 25th. It is designed to help beginning gardeners and those new to horticultural activities. Class topics include information on starting the garden, site selection, landscaping, basic botany, composting, soil fertility, pest management, garden design, cool season gardens, how togrow the "top 10" vegetables, and more. The registration fee is $45, which includes course materials, drinks, snacks, and instruction from Certified Master Gardeners.
