Event Description: Introduction to Business Plans 3 – The Financials The Tennessee Small Business Development Center will be Presenting “Business Plan 3” on November 20, 2014 from 3:00 – 6:00 pm. This Workshop builds on the content presented in Introduction to Business Plans 2 – The Narrative, by giving aspiring Entrepreneurs more detailed insight on the major financial components of the business plan, their source/creation and interpretation. Each of the major financial statements will be reviewed including the Income Statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Projection, how they relate to each other, and the corresponding utilization of financial analysis, with a focus on Break-Even and Ratio Analysis. This Workshop will be highlighted by a hands on exercise requiring attendees to complete an actual 12 month cash flow projection during the Workshop. The Prerequisite for this Workshop is the completion of the TSBDC-MTSU, Introduction to Business Plans 2 – The Narrative Workshop. Attendees should bring a hand held calculator, and a pencil with an eraser for the exercise (the utilization of a PC, PDA, or similar electronic device is not allowed). This workshop will be held at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce, 3050 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro, TN 37129 There is no charge to attend the Workshop, but reservations are required and available on-line at www.tsbdc.org or by calling (615) 898-2745.
