Event Description: Join us as we welcome the Sam Davis Memorial Association to the Rutherford County community! The Sam Davis Memorial Association will celebrate the opening of a new nature trail and arboretum for visitors and the community to enjoy. The SDMA preserves the Sam Davis Home to keep alive the story of Sam Davis, his family, and the people who labored on this Middle Tennessee farm before, during, and after the Civil War. Through museum exhibits, the historic home, preserved farm land and quality education programs, the SDMA imparts to its visitors the importance of learning about their past and its relevance to their present.




Directions:
I-24 West to Exit 70, Nissan Blvd Take I-24 to Exit 70/Almaville Road. Continue to Nissan Blvd four miles to the intersection of Sam Davis Road (CVS Pharmacy on the left).Left onto Sam Davis Road. The entrance to the Sam Davis Home is 1/4 mile on the right (stone wall followed by stone gates).
