Event Description: THE CITIZENS POLICE ACADEMY IS AN INSIDE VIEW OF THE MURFREESBORO POLICE DEPARTMENT. PARTICIPANTS WILL GET TO WALK IN THE SHOES OF AN OFFICER AND SEE WHY AND HOW THEY DO THE THINGS THEY DO TO KEEP OUR CITY SAFE. MEET SEVERAL OFFICERS AND LEARN ABOUT THEIR SPECIALIZED ASSIGNMENTS. RIDE-A-LONG WITH AN OFFICER FOR A SHIFT AND SEE THE OTHER SIDE OF LAW ENFORCEMENT.
