Event Description: For the Heroes 5K Walk/Run will begin and end at the Historic Downtown Murfreesboro Square on September 26, 2015. Registration is at 7 am, start time is at 8 am. All proceeds benefit our local Veterans and families through Operation: Adopt A Hero. Packet pick up will at Cultivate Coworking at 107 West Lytle St on September 24 and 25th from 1-7pm. Racers, volunteers and sponsors are needed for this event and encouraged to email malcolm@oaahtn.org for more information. Early bird registrations are guaranteed a shirt. Shirts for Late registrations will be on a first come- first serve basis at packet pick up while supplies last. All tickets include a voucher for the Murfreesboro Young Professionals Ice Cream Social from 11am-1pm on race day at Civic Plaza. The Ice Cream Social benefits United Way of Rutherford County.
