Event Description: The Center for the Arts presents “Harvey”, September 11 – 20, 2015. In this wonderful comedy, Elwood P. Dowd insists on including his friend Harvey in all of his sister Veta’s social gatherings. Trouble is, Harvey is an imaginary six-and-a-half-foot-tall rabbit. To avoid future embarrassment for her family, Veta decides to have Elwood committed to a sanitarium. A comedy of errors ensues and Elwood and Harvey become the catalysts for a family mending its wounds and for romance blossoming in unexpected places. Evening shows are on Friday and Saturdays at 7:30pm. Sunday matinees are at 2:00pm. Tickets are available online at www.boroarts.org, at the Center’s box office located at 110 W. College Street, or by calling 615.904.2787. Tickets prices are $15 for adults, $13 for seniors/students/military, and $11 for children. A discount of $2 per ticket is applied to groups of 10 or more.
