Event Description: Captain Michael Burrows would like to announce H3O Aquatics is having our 2nd annual Candle Light service for Our Vietnam Veterans including Survivors, MIA/POW and their families. We encourage all members of our community to come out and support this event.We will have a speaker from the VA. Vietnam veterans who wish to say something will also get a chance to speak at this special Candlelight Ceremony and those who just want to attend are welcome to come and listen. Soldiers and families are also welcome to come early and bring a candle to light in honor and remembrance of a Vietnam veteran. Photos in frames and small flags to honor the veteran are also welcomed.These events are rain or shine and in case of inclement weather will be moved inside H3O Aquatics located at 236 Robert Rose Drive behind Home Depot. Our Viet Nam veterans bravely fought for our freedom and came home to mistreatment and ridicule. They have never been treated with the dignity and appreciation they so rightfully deserve which is a national disgrace. As a 10 year Army Veteran and current Army reservist myself, I promised myself I would not allow any more of our holiday seasons to pass without taking some time to honor and appreciate them and pay some long overdue respect to our Vietnam veterans.
