Event Description: The Parrot Plunge is our version of a polar bear plunge. Instead of freezing cold water outdoors, come take a dip in our heated therapy pools for a great cause. The Parrot Plunge is a fundraiser for local veterans' aquatic therapy here in Murfreesboro. The Veterans' Aquatic Rehabilitation Foundation (VARF) and H3O Aquatics provide veterans with the best physical therapy in the country, if needed at no cost to the veteran. It is because of our communities generous giving that we are able to provide these services. Please support our local veterans. This event is limited to 100 attendees and requires a minimum donation of only 25.00. There will be food at the event. You are welcome to take a dip in the heated pools and relax or you can hang out in the reception area alongside the heated pools. We will have fun activities including water volleyball, heated massage jets, and a DJ. You can wear gym clothes or bathing suites in the heated therapy pools and everyone gets there own private changing and restroom. Donations are tax-deductable. Your donation will improve veterans’ health and quality of life. This fund provides rehabilitation that they cannot receive anywhere else. Your generous gift can help veterans walk again, regain mobility, decrease medication dependence, and improve their and their family’s quality of life. It will help them cope with harsh conditions that they may be suffering from, and it will change their life. You are also welcome to buy a ticket for a veteran if you can not make the event!
