Event Description: A host of very talented vocal performers from all over the United States will gather in Murfreesboro March 4 through March 6 for the 21st annual prestigious Orpheus Vocal Competition. These 63 contestants will perform in hopes of winning top cash awards totaling more than $19,000 and catapulting their careers in vocal performance. It is an amazing opportunity for local residents to hear some of the best young voices in the country, representing many of the top colleges, universities, and conservatories. The public is invited to attend the Orpheus Finale Concert on Sunday, March 6, the culmination of a weekend of exciting performances by these talented vocalists. The competition is sponsored by the Middle Tennessee Choral Society and the MTSU School of Music.
