Event Description: 34th Annual Uncle Dave Macon Days Old Time Music and Dance Festival July 8-10, 2011 at Cannonsburgh Village 312 S. Front Street (just off NW Broad St, near LaSiesta Restaurant) Murfreesboro, Tennessee Three days of old family fun More than 12,000 in prize money in many music and dance competitions Home of the National Title in Old Time Banjo, Old Time Clogging and Old Time Buckdancing Trailblazer award winner -- The Delmore Brothers, 7 p.m. Friday Heritage award winner - 4-time Grammy award winner David Holt, 5 p.m. Saturday Arts and crafts, food, children's activities, shape-note singing, shade-tree jamming, living history demonstrations, workshops and the famous "motorless" parade at 10 a.m. on Saturday rolling down East Main St. toward the courthouse and finally ending at Cannonsburgh. Gospel sing and community service on Sunday Admission: $5 per day for either Friday or Saturday, $8 for both days. Children 12 and younger are free.
