Event Description: For the 13th consecutive year, Wing Fling, a longtime community favorite, returns to Murfreesboro to raise money for The Family Center and Prevent Child Abuse America. The event will take place at the MTSU Murphy Center Lawn on Saturday, April 2, from 12–3 p.m. Wing Fling features over 15 participating organizations and restaurants providing their best wings in an attempt to have their dishes named the “Best Wings in the ’Boro.” Attendees get all you can eat wings from across Murfreesboro with their ticket. Music, games and much more will also be present! Last year, Kappa Delta and the Murfreesboro community came together to raise over $26,000 with over 2,500 people attending the 2015 Wing Fling. Organizers say they hope to exceed both totals in 2016. For more information, contact Taylor Hayes at kddeltapicommunityservice@gmail.com. Tickets are $8 presale and $10 at the door.
