Event Description: Let's Make Wine will be hosting "Purple Paws". Purple Paws is a monthly fundraising event for specific Animal projects. We pick a Rutherford county based project or animal to help. We will take requests for where our assistance is needed. Animals may be Service, Domestic, or Wild to help. For sponsorship opportunities please email us at PurplePawsTn@gmail.com or call 615-530-0551 . There will be a limited amount of sponsors per event to maximize exposure. These events are created to bring awareness, networking, and socializing to those who enjoy good wine, good people, and a love for animals. $20 at the door, wine samples and light apps provided. June's charity will be New Leash On Life - Middle Tennessee Animal Welfare Organization This is an adoptioncelebration for Vino. Vino is a rescue from NLOL. She is 4 this year. Every year Vino donates back to NLOL. Vino (previously Bluebelle)was found on the streets of Lebanon TN. little chance of survival. She was hand fed for almost 2 weeks and slowly gained her health. Now vino spends her days being spoiled, assisting with Wildlife rescue, and fighting BSL (breed specific legislation) Please help us celebrate and give to a great organization. Vino will be there to thank you in person. A little about NLOL: Our Mission New Leash on Life is dedicated to improving the welfare of companion animals in our community through shelter, placement, spay/neuter, education and awareness. Our goals include the following: To educate the public about the importance of having their pets spayed or neutered, and to provide low or no cost surgeries for those in need. To shelter and provide care for stray, abused, or relinquished animals. To educate the general population about the seriousness of pet overpopulation. To end euthanasia as a means of controlling pet overpopulation. To find good homes for the animals in our care. Our hope for the future is that there will be no unwanted, unloved or abandoned companion animal. We will continue with our aggressive spay/neuter campaign and our owner education programs in the hopes that any pet ever adopted will find a permanent, loving home. We believe that with the involvement of our community we will make a significant impact on the welfare of companion animals, but we need your help and understanding.
