Event Description: Oil-based paint only will be collected and properly disposed of at 1140 Haley Road, Murfreesboro, TN 37130. This collection is for households only. Latex paint, also called acrylic paint, will not be collected at this or any other event since it is not actually a hazardous material. Instead it is a nuisance waste that should be dried at home before disposing of in the regular trash. For more information on proper solidification and disposal methods please refer to the county website at www.rutherfordcountytn.gov/environmental and then click on the “Education” link.
