Event Description: S.A.V.E. is a non-profit organization started and run by teens to help combat malnutrition in Haiti. The goal is to raise $25,000 which will go to build wells and ponds in Boukeron, Haiti. We have already held a letter campaign, hosted a 24-hour famine, worked a car wash, and found business sponsorships. Already, the overwhelming support from our community has helped us raise over $8,000. The directors of the organization are Tayllor Cochrane, Shelby Hardison, Laura Bean, Mary Cate Ownby, Tony Allen, and Brock Baker. Our adult sponsors are Kristi Cochrane and Melissa LaDuc. Please join us as we work to share the blessings God has given us to those who are less fortunate. 100% OF THE MONEY RAISED WILL GO DIRECTLY TO BOUKERON TO BUILD THE WELLS AND LAKES AS WELL AS PROVIDE LIVESTOCK. Help us get closer to our final goal of $25,000 by running (or walking!) in our S.A.V.E. the Night Fun Run 5k! Registration for the 5k will begin at 7:00pm followed by the race at 8:00. All awards will start at 9.There will be door prizes, awards for first, second, and third place runners in each age group, and prizes for the best costumes of the night. The race is super hero themed so put on your capes, masks, and colorful tights to help us "S.A.V.E." Haiti! The cost for adults is $25 per runner and $15 for ages 9 and under. Runners 13 and under will need an adult to be present for the whole race. Runners 9 and under will need an dult to run with them. Registration will be available online shortly. Please come out and support us!!! Also, there will be donuts, a DJ, Smoothie King, an ice cream truck, and glowsticks...You don't wanna miss it!!!
