Event Description: The Tennessee Small Business Development Center at MTSU invites you to attend an informative seminar on why your company should be considering exporting now. Greg Lewis, founder of Export Business Solution, LLC, will provide insight into the advantages for US companies to be exporting their products or services today. This complimentary seminar will be held at the Rutherford County Chamber of Commerce office located at 3050 Medical Center Parkway, Murfreesboro, Tennessee, December 20, 2011 from 3:00pm-5:00pm. The seminar will cover how a company can establish a foundation to sell products in an emerging global market. Guests will learn the tools needed to take the first step to introduce the world to their company’s product or service. Lewis will discuss how to develop an international marketing plan, identify new markets, increase sales, and ultimately increase business profits. “U.S. exports have hit record highs this year,” states Lewis. “Businesses ought to consider the potential of exporting to increase their company’s sales and profits.” There are so many opportunities and advantages abroad which can be tough to navigate if you don’t have the right tools. This seminar is ideal for anyone who is even thinking about incorporating exporting as part of their business strategy.” Lewis is a serial entrepreneur successful in building, leading, and transforming US and International companies for more than 25 years. As founding partner of Export Business Solutions LLC, Lewis uses his International experience to help US companies market and sell their products and services to prospective buyers around the world. He is a native of Tennessee where he built consumer goods manufacturing and supply chain management companies serving both the U.S. and global markets. Lewis has also served as the Executive Director of an International media and volunteer organization with offices located in 40 countries. Lewis is a member of the Nashville Area Chamber of Commerce International Business Council and Franklin Rotary at Breakfast. He is also a member of the Nashville Entrepreneur Center where he mentors startup for-profit companies and nonprofit organizations in their early stages of development.
