Event Description: This Workshop is aimed at giving aspiring Entrepreneurs more detailed insight on the non-financial parts of the business plan. The Workshop will review each of the major narrative sections of the business plan, and their relative importance. These include the reference sections – Title Page, Table of Contents, Confidentiality/Non-Disclosure, Salary/Wage Matrix, Time Line/Project Plan, and Job Description; along with the descriptive/summary sections – Owner Biography/Experience, Business Description, Product/Service Description, Target Market Identification, Marketing Strategy, Management Summary, Operations Summary, Mission Statement, and Executive Summary. Prerequisites for this Workshop are completion of the TSBDC-MTSU, Starting Your Own Business/Introduction to the Business Plan Workshop, or a minimum of 1 year of active business operations. Business Plan financials will be covered in a separate Workshop, Introduction to Business Plans 3 – The Financials. This class will be held April 24, 2012, from 3:00 pm to 6:00 pm. There is no charge to attend the Workshop, but reservations are required and available on-line at www.tsbdc.org or by calling (615) 898-2745. Please arrive and sign in 10 minutes prior to the beginning of the Workshop. Accommodations are available for the handicapped.
