Event Description: Prompted by the success of the hit Disney Musical “High School Musical” and the rave television show “Glee”, musical theater is once again in the attention and spot light of many students. In response to this new love of modern musical theater, Carpe Artista and Centerpoint Theater Co. are partnering together to provide a week long musical theater camp that will allow students the opportunity to learn and grow in the skills needed to perform in musical theater. Local professionals from greater Nashville’s theater community will be teaching and administrating a feature packed week. Through out the week the students will sing, act, dance and prepare to perform in the Summer Mix Tape showcase that will take place at the end of the week. Ages This camp is for rising 3rd - 12th grades Students will be assigned to one of three teams. These teams will be created by grade level: Grades 3-5, 6-8, 9-12. Cost Base Registration $125 covers registration for the week Perks Registration $225 covers registration for the week plus...
