Event Description: Small Business Mgmt. Institute - "Leadership is Not about Getting Things Done!" Held at the Chamber of Commerce. For far too long, both academics and practicing managers have tried with little success to explain the difference between leadership and management. We find ourselves stuck in a paradigm that casts leadership as a better way to get things done - a loftier, more effective, form of management.
