Oaklands Museum's long running Wedding Dress exhibit has found a new home at the Woman's Club of Murfreesboro for the summer of 2023. The historic Woman's Club of Murfreesboro, established in 1916, will host the exhibit at its historic Baskette house built in 1857, providing a wonderful backdrop for the dress exhibit which has been renamed and now includes wedding dresses of other cultures while continuing the tradition of local dresses featuring different eras.
The event is open to the public June 2-4, June 9-11, and June 16-18.
Hours: Fridays and Saturdays 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Sundays 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
