TN Voices presents Youth Mental Health First Aid
Youth Mental Health First Aid (YMHFA)
trains adults—including parents, caregivers,
teachers, and others—to support
adolescents (ages 6–18) experiencing
mental health or substance use challenges
or crises. Certification equips you to identify
common concerns, reduce stigma, recognize
warning signs, and apply a 5-step action
plan to assist youth in need, including those
at risk of suicide.
