 | Blackman High School's poetry club SOUP (Society of Undiscovered Poets) will be teaming up with the Culinary Arts and Visual Arts departments, along with Poetry in the Boro to put on a fundraiser for a good cause called "Soup and Sonnets." We will be featuring our SOUP Poetry Club and author/poets Court C. Stevens & LB Fox-Ezell, along with the Blackman High Culinary Arts classes will be making their delectable food and Visual Arts will be displaying astounding art. Last November, we raised over $500 for the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission's Shelter fund to support them as they work to build a homeless shelter on Bridge Avenue in Murfreesboro. $10 suggested donation, with all proceeds going to the Murfreesboro Rescue Mission.
